
Greg Lamunyan, SRA, AI-RRS, AGA
Principal, Appraiser and Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute
Greg Lamunyan has been an Oregonian since 1991. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he went back to school and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Portland State University. He is a state Certified Residential Appraiser, committed to continuing education. This is evidenced by his Designated Membership of the Appraisal Institute (SRA), (AI-RRS), his accreditation as an Accredited Green Appraiser (AGA), and his Worldwide ERC Appraisal Training. He provides a broad range of fee-based valuation services to attorneys, accountants, estates, title companies, private parties, brokerages, relocation companies and direct lenders. He specializes in litigation work and is an experienced expert witness. He has completed the Appraisal Institute’s Professional Development Program for Litigation along with additional course work related to litigation assignments. Property types include residential land, single-family homes and two-to-four-unit plex’s. Experience includes valuations related to estate tax, generation-skipping gift tax, non-cash charitable contributions, divorce, bankruptcy, tax appeal, title claims, construction defects and mediation. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities and traveling.
Taylor Johnson
Certified Residential Appraiser
Taylor has spent most of his life in the Portland area and has also lived in Washington and California. He graduated from Western Washington University in 2020 and began his career in appraisal shortly afterward. Taylor became an Oregon State Certified Residential Appraiser in 2023 after working under Mark Hepner and MacKenzie Robertson. He is competent in valuing a wide variety of properties, including but not limited to non-complex residential homes, high-rise condos, rural acreage properties, vacant land, and complex multi-family assignments. Taylor’s experience also includes valuations for purposes of estate tax, divorce, selling decisions, and various private party litigation. When not working, Taylor enjoys going to sporting events, traveling, playing golf and spending time with friends/family.
Trevan Hertz Certified Residential Appraiser
Trevan is a lifelong Oregonian who grew up and currently resides in the Portland Metropolitan area. He has been in the appraisal profession since 2015 and became a Certified Residential Appraiser in Oregon in 2024. Originally a trainee under his father, a 30-year Certified appraiser, Trevan has grown to become a competent appraiser committed to the continued success of the profession. He provides a broad range of fee-based valuation services to private parties, brokerages, accountants, appraisal management companies and lenders. He has experience valuing a wide variety of assignments including complex, high-value residential, and rural properties.
MacKenzie Robertson, SRA
Principal, Appraiser and Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute
Kenzie has been a lifelong resident of Oregon and was born and raised in Portland. She began her career in real estate appraising after graduating from the University of Oregon in 2014. Kenzie joined the firm of Portland Residential Appraisals, Inc. in February 2015 and completed training under Mark Hepner, SRA. She is a Certified Residential Appraiser and holds the SRA Designation from the Appraisal Institute. She has also completed the Appraisal Institute’s Professional Development Program for Valuation of Sustainable Buildings: Residential. She is competent in appraising many types of properties and has worked on several complex assignments, such as rural acreage properties, properties with subdivision potential, high value estate properties and green certified homes. Experience includes valuations related to estate tax, generation-skipping gift tax, non-cash charitable contributions, divorce, bankruptcy, construction defects and mediation. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, backpacking, running, volleyball, and reading.
Jonathan Herdina
Certified Residential Appraiser
Born and raised in the suburbs of Portland, Jonathan is a lifelong resident of Oregon. He graduated from George Fox University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He began his appraisal journey at a local Appraisal Management Company as a QC Analyst in 2019. He joined Portland Residential Appraisals in June 2020 and completed training under Greg Lamunyan, SRA, AI-RRS. He is pursuing the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute to continue his life-long pursuit of continuous improvement. He has more than 2 years of experience appraising complex properties including waterfront, high-value homes, small multi-family, small acreage with outbuildings, and new custom construction. When not appraising, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, including coaching his oldest son’s soccer team. They especially enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
Cheryl Dollar Office Manager
Cheryl grew up in Newberg, where she raised her family and resides today. Cheryl started her career in 1995 as a loan processor for a small mortgage company and in 1997 she was promoted to Operation Manager overseeing six Oregon locations. In 2006 Cheryl chose to change paths and went to work for a real estate appraiser where she spent the next 15 years. In 2023 she was presented with an opportunity to work for Portland Residential Appraisals and jumped at the chance! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and spending as much time outdoors as possible!

Mark Hepner, SRA Principal, Appraiser and Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute
Mark Hepner was a State Certified Residential Appraiser for Portland Residential Appraisals Inc. He graduated from the University of Oregon in Business Administration with major fields of study in Real Estate and Urban Economics. Mark has over 45 years of appraisal experience and holds the prestigious SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. He provided a range of fee-based valuation services to attorneys, private parties, brokerages, accountants, relocation companies and lenders and specialized in complex, high-value residential properties including small income properties and central coast properties. He is experienced in litigation work as an expert witness and has completed the Appraisal Institute’s Professional Development Program for Litigation. Mark retired in 2022 and was succeeded by MacKenzie Robertson as Principal.
